Troset farm is situated in beautiful surroundings in Markabygda village in Levanger municipality. The farm one of the oldest settlements in the village with a restored farmhouse from 1780.
Troset farm is still in full operation, and during the summer season you will meet both goats and cows on pasture. Old traditions and wisdom combined with modern thought and operation. At Troset, mountains and forests, sky and earth meet, and you get a fantastic view of Lake Movannet, Markabygda and the road onwards to Nidaros. As you come down the mountain on the pilgrim path from Munkeby, the landscape opens up to reveal its beauty all the way to Markabygda and Troset.
